Warehousing and Logistics

To complement our extensive resources and capabilities in the area of packaging components, Cardinal also offers an integrated program of warehousing and logistics for those clients who require this service. This service also includes online access for client convenience. Cardinal Packaging Products ships from three strategic locations, including its own northwest suburban headquarters and warehouse facility, as well as two vendor distribution centers strategically located at the southern end of the Chicago metropolitan area.

Cardinal out sources many of its deliveries, but our own dual axle 53-foot freightliner expands its capabilities, enabling Cardinal to control freight costs and reduce customer delivery charges. Cardinal also runs a smaller, straight truck to serve customers that do not have trailer access. Not every customer can accommodate a 53-foot freightliner however, so the straight truck fills a need for those customers who do not have trailer access. The straight truck also improves efficiencies; while the trailer is being loaded/unloaded, Cardinals driver can take a smaller load with the straight truck. Cardinal is constantly striving to improve customer service in all areas including; delivery capabilities, controlling costs, and implementing inventory management systems.
