Our History

In 1978, Robert and Lenore Serwinski established Cardinal Container Corporation primarily distributing commodity packaging items.
In 1988, the company was purchased by Richard VanEgeren and was then joined in 1995 by the sales team of Tim Peters, Vince Slapa and Steve Overlee. The company grew at a rapid pace and, in 2000, purchased its own warehousing facility in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
In 2002, the Management Team of Tim Peters, Vince Slapa, Steve Overlee and Julie Wancket purchased Cardinal Container Corporation and gave it its current name of Cardinal Packaging Products
Today, the company offers a broad range of Retail and Industrial packaging to a wide spectrum of industries. The company also embraces a Management Inventory System allowing shipping from four strategically located branches.
